Port-O-Call was built in the early eighties and has endured her share of hurricanes as well as other extreme acts of nature. Through it all she remains strong and lives tall. Port-O-Call is located in the Jackson Circle neighborhood. She sits so close to the marsh guests may feel they have their own personal seat amongst the abundant wildlife. There are screened porches or open decks that cover three quarters (3/4) of the exterior making relaxing on any of the outside spaces a memory in of itself. Once inside, this home has a traditional floor plan that sleeps eight (8) comfortably. The decor through out Port-O-Call has frequently been described as ‘bohemian’ in nature mainly because of the beautiful pine floors and juniper walls. As guests walk through the front door they will find that the main hall leads into three very different large living spaces; the music room, the sun room and kitchen/gathering space. The music room not only has a piano, but also a couch and leather recliner along with a stereo and TV. The sun room has yet another couch as well as other comfortable seating and a dining area. Two french doors lead out to two of the decked areas. The last room, the kitchen/gathering area is just that. A fully equipped kitchen complete with a gas stove/oven and dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave and large toaster oven. Separating the kitchen from the gathering area is a bar area used not only for ‘gathering’ but also for eating on the run. Located in the gathering area is a love seat and comfy chair and a TV.

Upstairs, guests will find four bedrooms. Each bedroom has been named due to the unique nature of each room. The ‘master bedroom’ is not only the largest of all the bedrooms it has a king bed and ceiling fan. The room directly across from the ‘master bedroom’ is the ‘room with the view.’ This small bedroom has a double bed with expansive views of the marsh. Down the hall is a large bedroom with a queen bed. This is known as the ‘middle room.’ The middle room has a secret loft area great for reading or listening to music. Lastly, the ‘end room’ has a queen bed as well. This room is the brightest room of all as the windows close to the ceiling bring in light throughout the day light hours.
